⊙ CEEWS(Controlled Environment Extreme Weather Simulator)

* CEEWS is made according to the module of "Chamber for Analytic Research on Wall Assemblies Exposed to Simulated Weather" in USDA forest products Laboratory.
* CEEWS perform and control the rainfall, light, temperature, and CO₂precisely.
* When add the Desiccant Dehumidifier and Building Low Pressure Steam, Absolute Humidity and Soil Temperature of inside of module are controlled.
* The same technique is adopted for the application of foreign weather data source using at NASA Kennedy Space Center.
* Using this equipment, it analyze the effect of extreme weather on the growth of target plants or crops by qualitatively and quantitatively.

LIGHTING CONTROL SYSTEM

RAINFALL CONTROL SYSTEM

CONTROL SYSTEM
The control system consists of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) desktop PC, the Remote Display Console, and two system control consoles (Indoor Console, Rainfall System Console). The system control consoles each contain a PLC controller with various I/O configurations. The elements of the system communicate with SCADA PC via Ethernet connections or Lines. CEEWS is controlled by the data obtained from external data logger which is modified by a variable or operated by the data obtained from some other place or cities by real time manner.

Remote Display Console
* The remote display console contain's color LCD display. * It communicates with the SCADA PC over an Ethernet connection and display general status or the detail for any selected system. * It also houses the master alarm circuits as described in the preceding section.

Indoor Console
* The Indoor Console is controlled and data acquisition for temperature and relative humidity and lights and CO₂. * The set points are input to the PLC from the SCADA PC over communication line or Ethernet connection.
* Inputs to the PLC are analog signals for temperature and humidity and lights and CO₂ and digital status for System power "On" and independent















* High/Low Temperature Alarm.
* The PLC is programmed such that a High/Low Temperature Alarm willcause a System Shutdown output.
