⊙ TC2 Micro Controller

The TC2 is our standard controller for growth chambers and controlled environment rooms. Built around a dedicated microprocessor, the TC2 offers a full complement of control features to meet the needs of sophisticated researchers. It provides 200 lines of programming steps, driving two closed loop and eight open loop control channels, to allow user development of complex control cycles. The closed loop channels include both proportional as well as on/off outputs, and are user assignable to process parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, or CO2 control.
In addition to its programming power the TC2 is more than just a stand-alone controller. RS245 communications capability allows interconnecting up to 32 controllers. When connected (via standard RS232) to a PC running our ControlNet software, the TC2 becomes part of a distributed network with capability for centralized control, monitoring, and data reporting.
The TC2 also contains safety and security features to safeguard your experiments. The keypad is lockable by a security code to prevent tampering with programs in process. User definable alarm options allow the researcher to program high and low limits for alarms as well as safety shutdowns in case of malfunction. Alarm conditions can also be reported to a central control point through switchable outputs or the network interface.

Standard TC2 features include :
